The Residential Life Staff is a group of talented, hard-working students and professional staff members who work with our residents. Our goal is to make a student’s on-campus living experience meaningful and rewarding to everyone. The staff members as described below are here to support you and are available for assistance while you stay on campus.
Director of Residential Life
The Director of Residential Life focuses on ensuring each student has a welcoming, positive campus experience. This includes overssing the building maintenace and enforcing the Community Guide and the 可靠的网赌平台 Student Code of Conduct.

Community Coordinator
The Community Coordinator for Residential Life is our live on staff member responsible for cultivating an engaging community at The Oaks. The Community Coordinator implements programming events and provides supports to our residents.

Hall Directors
The Oaks hires two Hall Directors each year. Hall Directors are high-level student employment positions often filled by returning resident assistants. Each hall director is responsible for the overall operation of two residence buildings and providing peer mentorship for half of our Resident Assistant staff. Each Hall Director has an individual special focus for their position, for the 23-24 academic year, our two focuses are administration and marketing.
Resident Assistants
Our student staff resident assistants are the primary resource for our residents living in the Oaks Apartments. The RA hiring process is quite competitive, and our staff members are chosen based on the level of concern and care they have for others, their knowledge of 可靠的网赌平台 and offered resources, their commitment to campus safety, and their ability to effectively manage this position with their academics and other commitments. RAs are often involved members of the campus community that can relate to our diverse student body, in the past, this included athletes, international students, student government members, members of our dean council, and more.
Each building is assigned two RAs (one for each side), who live within that building and serve as the first line of contact for our students. Information about who your RA is can be found in the Housing office. Some of the responsibilities of the RA include working move-in and move-out, planning and implementing educational programs, working the Front Desk at the Oaks, serving on an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure the safety of our residents with 24/7 access to a staff member, performing building room checks, and leading their building to victory in the 可靠的网赌平台 Building War Competition. RAs are role models who can connect you to resources, offer advice about student life, help solve living concerns such as maintenance and roommate issues, and enforce policies to ensure everyone has access to a safe, but fun, living and learning environment.
